We welcome dance groups of all backgrounds and styles to apply to select a diverse range of participants that truly reflects the vibrant dance community of Milton Keynes.

 

Selections are made six weeks before each gala, allowing both MK Dance Theatre and our guest groups time to finalise preparations, arrange chaperones, and submit any technical requirements. Programming is carefully considered to create an engaging and varied performance, while also taking into account group sizes and logistical needs to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all.

 

To maintain this balance, a maximum of ten guest groups will be selected for each gala date.

July Performance Gala – Sunday 16th July 2026, 7:30 pm

Application Deadline: 7th June 2026

Selection Announcement: 14th June 2026

 

Groups may apply to perform at one or multiple galas using the application link below.

 

A participation fee of £50.00 will be payable by each selected group per gala. This contribution supports theatre hire and production costs incurred by MK Dance Theatre. Each school may decide whether to pass this fee on to their dancers or cover the cost itself to provide the opportunity.
