MK Dance Theatre are delighted to present our latest creative project

 

'The Fields of Cupid'

 

The production will not only feature new and unique choreography but for the first time will also tell an MKDT original story featuring the protagonist 'Cupid' 

The production will be MKDT's bravest and boldest creation yet and will feature choreography in both MKDT Signature Style 'Neo-Classical' & Contemporary.

Set to an emotive and beautiful score it promises to be an intense and enriching artistic creation for everyone involved.

A short expert from the creation was presented at our Season Opening Gala in October 2022 and this can be viewed below.

We are looking for a young and diverse cast of dancers to work on this creation.

​

Dancers with Classical and Contemporary techniques will be welcomed.

​

Style-specific roles available for dancers with experience in both styles or in individual styles.

Rehearsal & Performance Schedule

Rehearsals will take place each Sunday starting from the 26th of February 2023 until the performance dates in June 2023 with the exception of the following dates:

- 9th April 2023

This date will be replaced with a rehearsal on the following:

- 8th April 2023

Rehearsals will last for 4hours each Sunday with dancers split into two groups dependent on casting. Sessions will run from either:

10:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 18:00 

Rehearsals will take place at the theatre on the 31st May & 1st June with
performances following on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th June.

Successful Candidates:

Cast Member (12+) : £395.00

*Limited amounts of financial aid are available to support people who require it. You will be asked for this information on the audition day.
