Event Information & Casting

The Fields of Cupid explores the intricacies of human relationships: it is a tale of love, power, and the consequences of one's actions.

Eros and Himeros, children of Aphrodite, are born as fledgling beings in the Kingdom of Celestials. As they grow up and learn about their angelic powers, Eros discovers the beauty of love, while Himeros becomes entranced by the darkness of desire. The brothers journey to Earth to play with and test their abilities, where they plant seeds of love and desire amongst the Humans.

Eros becomes distracted by a human named Psyche, who he finds to be even more beautiful than Aphrodite herself. He secretly bestows the feelings of love upon her before revealing himself, and convinces her to follow him to the sky. The other angels transform Psyche into an angel and they have a child together: Hedone. As the relationship progresses and his powers grow, Eros falls into obsession with the dark power of desire and manipulation, leading to his demise…

The Fields of Cupid serves as a cautionary tale of the dangers of power and obsession, as well as the importance of using one's abilities for good
